Few things in life are at once as simple and profoundly pleasing as freshly baked bread. Whether you’re the person making it with your own hands or simply the person sitting somewhere the house noticing that wonderful smell permeating the air, it’s an awesome thing in its own humble way. And that first slice when it’s fresh out of the oven… Delicious!
So when we found this recipe for bread that’s made in the shape of a cute little bunny rabbit we were beside ourselves with glee. And hunger!
Donna Currie first came up with her recipe for bunny-shaped bread a few years ago. Since then she has perfected her Bunny Bread-making technique. If you head over to Cookistry, you’ll find an excellent set of instructions enabling you to bake some bunny bread of your very own.

Lauren Davis from Comics Alliance posted an awesome collection of wonderfully geeky dioramas made using our sugary sweet friends, marshmallow Peeps!
Star Trek Peeps having trouble with Tribbles, Soylent Peeps, Peep Ghostbusters, and classic Super Mario Peep Bros., these are just some of our favourites, but we love them all and strongly recommend that you head over to Comics Alliance to view the rest.

Happy Pi Day friends!
For Pi Day, Shannon at a periodic table created the apple Pi, an awesome apple pie where the fruit and crust adornments are cut into numbers. It pleases our collective geeky side and looks completely delicious.
“I think it’s safe to say this may be the geekiest baking project I’ve done to date. And that’s saying something, as I am prone to geeking out in the kitchen a wee little bit. I mean, it’s a pie made entirely of apple numbers. And then topped with more numbers, this time of the crust variety. Oh, and not only numbers, you see, but the numbers of that beloved symbol of Nerdland (and I mean that in a good way), Pi.”
